Next of Kin Affidavit of Assets

In the case of an intestate estate with a value exceeding $10,000 with the decedent having no surviving spouse/civil union domestic partner, the Next of Kin Affidavit of Assets can be used. This form allows one of the next-of-kin. The affiant filing this has to present the original death certificate of the decedent, list of related assets, a death certificate of the decedent spouse (if any) and the notarized consents for the related next-of-kin in the case.
