Upon receipt of the copies of the divorce documents, the Defendant (the spouse who did not file for the divorce), must complete this form and return it to the Petitioner for filing.
This form certifies the completion of a divorce case filed in the State of Washington. To be valid, the form must be signed by the Judge during the divorcing couple’s final court hearing.
Filing this petition with the county court clerk’s office begins the divorce process in the State of Washington. Form must be accompanied by the Civil Cover Sheet when filed.
